Student Artist Statement: “I really like animals and tigers are my mom’s favorite animal, so I really want to give this to her. One thing I really liked about my project is the eyes of my big tiger. I spent lots of time doing the fur of my tiger so it would turn out just right.” ~Sanmathi
Instructor Statement: “Sanmathi is a very dedicated student who always puts her best effort forward when given a project. This is very evident when viewing her most recent work of art (Tiger, Image Enlargement Using a Grid). The details and texture that she utilized in this drawing certainly paid off. She is a pleasure to have in class and always brings a positive attitude to the studio. While working on this project Sanmathi encountered many challenges and did an amazing job adjusting her image to achieve more realism. I most certainly look forward to her future art works.” ~Ms. Ashley
