Homeschoolers’ Art
Weekly Studio Class: Students will develop a personal artistic style as we explore the legacy of the Masters! They’ll create compelling projects designed to highlight the elements of art and principles of design which brought each master artist to fame! Watch your child grow and gain confidence as they experiment with a variety of materials and techniques. With the personal guidance of a supportive instructor, they’ll develop their drawing, painting, sculpting and design skills.

Overview–Weekly Studio Classes
The majority of weekly classes offered at the studio have open enrollment throughout the school year. Students are welcome to begin a class at anytime (monthly tuition will be prorated according to student’s start date) and you may withdraw at your convenience by providing a minimum 30-day notice of withdrawal.
Initial Enrollment Fees:
- Prorated tuition for first month
- $15 Registration (one-time fee)
- $40-50 Enrollment deposit (equal to approx 50% of monthly tuition, to be applied toward final month of classes with proper notice of withdrawal)
Painting Studio (ages 9-17)
Weekly Studio Class: Working 1:1 with the instructor, students will have fun developing and refining their painting skills as they learn about basic art elements through applied design principles. Experimenting with a variety of techniques and materials, they’ll explore realism, impressionism, fauvism, surrealism, abstract expressionism and more!

Ceramics Studio (ages 9-17)
Weekly Studio Class: Focusing on hand-building as well as throwing on the wheel, this class is for beginning through intermediate students. Instructor demonstrations enable students to explore new techniques and directions.

3D Media Studio (ages 9-17)
Weekly Studio Class: Students will study the elements of form, space and texture as they work with various clays (ceramics, polymer and air-dry) and sculpting materials (wire, paper mache, found objects and more). They’ll study the work of many sculptors while creating their own unique pieces which express their individuality.

Drawing 2 (ages 13-17)
Students will hone their rendering skills through a series of intermediate to advanced lessons. Thorough exploration of a variety of drawing media will enable students to identify their preferred techniques and master their own unique drawing style.

Drawing 1 (ages 9-12)
Weekly Studio Class: Building on a solid understanding of fundamental illustration elements, students will refine their drawing skills using a variety of materials and techniques as they explore several illustration styles and develop their own unique style. Subjects (images, still life objects, models, etc.) are selected to fit the personal interests of each class—keeping projects fun and engaging.

Intro to Drawing (ages 7-9)
Weekly Studio Class: Students will learn a variety of fundamental drawing processes which enable them to accurately draw what they see. Through a series of step-by-step lessons, they’ll build their rendering skills and creative self-confidence. Individual expression is always encouraged as the instructor works 1:1 with each student in a positive and always supportive environment.

Mastering Art (ages 9-12)
Weekly Studio Class: Looking to strengthen your ability to express your creativity? This class will give you the solid foundation you’ll need! With a strong focus on building and fine-tuning artistic skills, the instructor will demonstrate techniques in drawing, painting and sculpting while referencing work by many master artists. Students will work with a large variety of materials as they are guided step-by-step through each technique.

Exploring Art (ages 6-8)
